Grey Guardian Farm was established in 2019 when Chester and Maggie bought a 40-acre plot land previously used for long horn cattle grazing east of Schriever Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, with a wide-open view of Pikes Peak to the west.

The Farm is a labor of love. The first structure on the property was the horse shed. It was built over a sweltering weekend in August 2019, with help from Chester's father and a great friend and mentor from Black Forest. This "barn raising" was the beginning of an amazing journey and a step towards the realization of our dreams. From fencing in the horse shed, building a house, closing-in the entire perimeter, and creating small pastures with a "Paddock Paradise" track for the horses to meander, Grey Guardian Farm is Chester and Maggie's home for their beloved horses.
